In the 19th century, many Indian students would go on to study in British universities. What were the inter-personal relations like between them and native white British students? Did people stay within their communities or was there greater amount of mingling?

While there is always more to say, I answered a similar question here a while ago, and you might like to review that response while you wait for fresh answers to your query. Mine covered both the 19th and early 20th centuries.

I am a Indian who has come for higher education in United kingdom pre 1947 . How am I treated in UK? Do the professors discriminate against me? Do my fellow white english students talk with me ? Is there a bias against me while giving credit or marks for academic performance
