With the theory that the Sahara desert forms around 5000-11000 years ago is it possible that the shift in the rain zone was the reason for “sea people” and the end of the bronze age civilizations?

Especially considering we haven’t been able to study the western saharan archeologically since 1991 despite technological developments and more recently the eastern saharan due to wars.
