In some places, it says most of them settled in Lisbon while a few would go on partially to Aragon and then the remainder to the Holy Land. Other sources say that most of the Crusaders would leave and few would stay though with no mention of where in regards to the leavers. So what did the Anglo-Breton etc contingent do after the siege? If a sizeable number did head to the Holy Land is there any info on their actions around Damascus if they made it in time?
Lol, I just realised I've asked this question myself before: https://www.reddit.com/r/AskHistorians/comments/crg4ee/of_the_english_contingent_in_the_second_crusade
At the very least it'll be interesting to see if any new scholarship has come up. u/WelfOnTheShelf
