Today:

Welcome to this week's instalment of /r/AskHistorians' Sunday Digest (formerly the Day of Reflection). Nobody can read all the questions and answers that are posted here, so in this thread we invite you to share anything you'd like to highlight from the last week - an interesting discussion, an informative answer, an insightful question that was overlooked, or anything else.

I’ll level with you history fans. Its hot here. I’m melting, and it isn’t helped by the fact my laptop has like 70 tabs open and crying out for them to be shut down. But the digest calls, and we must answer the call! So tune in for another fantastic collection of history writings from everyones favorite place to ask historians about stuff. Don’t forget to check out the usual weekly features, we’ve got some great special threads, thank those hard working contributors, and have fun!

And that’s it for another week! I’m going to go disappear into the shade of some nice tree’s somewhere and hope for a breeze, but you fine folks enjoy all the wealth the subreddit has to offer! Keep it classy, and I’ll see you next week!
