Books to Approach After AP World Textbook?

by LeetYeetMeat

I've finished up with my AP World History course, and it's become pretty interesting to learn about. Especially analyzing history with a far more complex lense than x event happened, and y event happened, and z event happened...

Any resources to explore after this? I have a pretty general overview of events in world history, but where should I go to read about it in more depth? And please, nothing extremely intimidating. I'm merely a humble high school student.

I recommend checking the wiki to find books on what interests you. If you are not sure what interests and want a book on world history I enjoyed The Penguin History of the World by J. M. Roberts but ultimately all world history books are surveys of sorts.
