I run a rabbit rescue. It is interesting to me that New Zealand white rabbits have a history as being taken on ships as a renewable food source. Dutch bunnies were desirable because you could get a fur collar and cuffs in different colors out of one rabbit. I would be interested in any historical rabbit trivia anyone has.
