New movie from Predator franchise, "Prey", is settled in 1719 America and almost all characters are from Comanche tribe, there is also full Comanche dubbing. I know next to nothing about Comanche culture and history, so I am curious, while I fully realize that "Prey" is action movie, not documentary, exactly how accurate is it?
Follow up question: in the movie we see a European spring trap that catches her dogs tail (weird that it catches the tail but the movie makers didn’t want to take the dog out of the picture!) and we see a herd of bison skinned and all the meat left behind.
Given that the year is 1719, would you expect to see trapping in this area by Europeans and were mass bison kills by Europeans happening at this point in time?
