Here's a thread from eighteen days ago on just this subject.
I should also note that at least three of our regular contributors have podcasts of their own, another has a YouTube channel, and the subreddit itself also has a podcast of its own, latest episode having dropped seventeen days ago.
I assume that there are no podcasts that historians recommend, because how could you possibly summarize the complex interworkings of major worldwide social movements from CENTURIES ago into a PODCAST, like seriously do you think history is just the simplistic “this happened and then this happened” linear narrative that you learned in your Freshman History for Marketing Majors class WTF am I even doing on this sub fielding questions from these barbarians who despite all our efforts still don’t grasp what history actually is.
But seriously, if there are podcasts that actual historians actually listen to without fear of losing their tenure, I’d be interested to know. Not sure I could dig the stuff they dig, but I’m curious.
