I've looked in three dictionaries and I cannot find this word in Old English. The only result that I can find online comes from a twitter thread yesterday that mentions that this word is in Beowulf, only it isn't! The closest word I can find is friðusibb which has a somewhat similar meaning as a peace-maker, but that isn't quite the same thing. In the three different translations of Beowulf I looked at with Old English text none of them have this word. (Given the single manuscript of Beowulf that isn't surprising all editions will be more or less the same in the OE)
