Hey, I am interested in reading prehistoric books, I have read "Sapiens" but I think it's too biased and superficial. Are there any prehistoric books of quality that go in-depth into the lives of hunter-gatherer societies?
Are you looking for novels? If you want some light reading, Kathleen and Micheal Gear have some imagined stories regarding long ago North American archaeological sites and artifacts, some of which qualify as prehistoric. Not 100% factual, but well researched, often featuring hunter-gatherers, and they bring the sites to life in a rare way.
