Searching for Historiography on Velasco's coup in Peru, sources on indigenous reforms?

by muddypuddlejumper

This might be a niche topic, but I'm doing a paper on the Velasco coup/reforms, and I can't find sources that give me a dive into the reforms regarding the indigenous population of Peru. I was hoping someone could help me out with some sources. Is there also any historiography on Velasco's life, upbringing, career, and political views outside of speeches? Thank you for your time and help.

Okey you are probably going to need to know some Spanish but some sources that can help you are El Desafío de la Revolución (this covers the situation before the coup and how it was later implemented in detailed, it also includes other information about his government) by Magdalena Chocano and Carlos Contreras, Los años de Velasco by Rolando Rojas and La Reforma Agraria by Jose Matos Mar. Check what the IEP has published about him or his government

Also if you wanna have some information about the experience of the land owners, farmers, sindicalists, local politicians with the agrarian reform, check Cuentos feos de la reforma agraria by Enrique Meyer.

Many of this books can be bought online, good luck
