I want a replica armor set of 13th, 14th, or even 15th century Sweden because I plan on having a medieval sweden persona for the Society of Creative Anachronism(SCA) but I can't find any good resources on what they wore. I already know that I want to use a swordstaff but I can't find much on Swedish armor pass the viking age. So what armor did they use?
Your best bet for resources on Scandinavian armor during the high middle ages, specifically 14th century, is probably the remains of the Battle of Visby in 1361.
According to the Swedish Historical Museum in Stockholm, Scandinavian armor at the time was a little out of date compared to the armor of the continent. Mail hauberk (probably with mail hose and sleeves) with a coat of plates seems to have been the norm for a heavily armored warrior, whereas the continent was moving towards forms of plate harness.
You can probably expect the surcoat to have been a standard piece of kit at the time too.
As an aside, by swordstaff, do you mean a hewing spear? We don't really have any historical remains that I'm aware of that could be called a swordstaff, even though the word shows up in the sagas. A hewing spear would be a more historically accurate weapon, though something like a great axe (Dane axe) would also work well. An arming sword on your belt would be expected if you can afford a full hauberk and coat of plates too.
