Did Christ celebrate Christmas?

Sorry for the pun in the title!

Obviously not in the Christian way, but would Jewish people living in Judea around the first century hold any celebrations around the time of the winter solstice? What were the origins/meaning behind these celebrations, and how would common people (let's say, a carpenter with his family) experience them?

Jewish holidays are generally tied to their lunisolar calendar and as such are no dates, and therefore no festivals, fixed to solar events, such as the winter solstice. However, on the 25th of Kislev, which at times overlaps with the winter solstice so is Hanukkah celebrated.

u/garmonboziamilkshake has previously given a good answer here regarding how this festival likely looked like at the time of Jesus, based on the few sources that we have. Worth noting is that a lot of what is associated with Hanukkah today came much later, just like how all holidays develop.
