Blademasters

As we all know, amongst all of the swordsmen in the world there are a handful of elite masters of the discipline. Known as 'Blademasters' they can be recognized by a heron on their blade or scabbard. Among the most famous of these masters are Lan Mandragoran and Tam Al'Tor. But how exactly does someone become recognized as a blademaster? Is there some kind of council that keeps a record of who has earned the title? And is there any safeguard against impersonators claiming the title unjustly?

A Little Help with World History in the 1960's!

I was never really good with history. I'm absolutely awful at remembering who did what during what time and never even really had a good in-depth idea of common world events. that being said! I have a group presentation on the class in reference to the decade of the 1960's. My portion of the project is in regards to World News and Events that happened around the world throughout the entire decade of the 1960's. I need to mainly talk about the major events which may have taken place and provide the significance of each major event and its importance. I'm already covering some general events which had taken place such as JFK Presidency/assassination, MLK Jr., Civil Rights Act, and Cuban Missile Crisis, etc... but just a general idea of what I can say about these things and any additional things which took place during the 1960's would be great help! I have to fill about 5 minutes of talking and history is just not a strong point for me. =/ also any links or additional information would be so much help!

Thanks for your help!

How did Leto II and Ghanima mate?

It seems kind of unthinkable that they were able to do so, since the worm metamorphosis would have gone on for quite some years before Ghanima would be old enough to carry a child.

Or is it just Atreides propaganda?

This has been on my mind the last few hours. I'd rather yell Blood for the Blood God than For the Emperor after all.

Title says it all.

How did the Incubators factor into the assassination of John F. Kennedy? Was the magic bullet literally magic, as in it was a witch that a Dallas-area magical girl failed to stop? What other historical events in the United States were Incubator-led?

As someone who is deeply passionate about his Incubator heritage, it's something I must know. If I don't know, have a long talk with your daughters.

How did Braavos become such an influential city-state in Westeros and Essos?

It seems like its remote location on the northern corner of Essos would put it far from main trade routes between the continents and hinder its influence, and yet it is the most prosperous and powerful of the Free Cities. How did this happen?

Is there a historical consensus as to why Gandhi was so obsessed with nuclear warheads?

It just seems so much at odds with his other character traits, especially after the many millennia of peaceful rule.

EDIT: It seems I need to clarify things a bit.

I'm not asking about how the developers of the Civilization games managed to come up with a work-around for this very strange behaviour of real-life Gandhi (in fact the mods have already removed two three four five inappropriate answers).

I'm wondering about the actual leader of the Indian civilization.

Also, Civilopedia is not an acceptable source, people... you know the rules of this sub.
