In broad strokes, today Native peoples across the United States (and across both North and South America, really) identify with one another as members of a broader group needing to maintain solidarity against colonial/European structures (despite enormous differences in culture/language, etc.). How do militia groups like Hezbollah and Taliban that have members in the tens of thousands organize themselves? How does their chain of command work? How do they make sure that everything goes according to plan?

When you’re talking about such huge numbers of people, isn’t it almost guaranteed that at some level some guy is going to refuse orders or disagree with them? In the military, the country has strict laws and martial courts and protocols to protect against disobedience and such things, I assume these organizations have an equivalent system in place? How do they enforce it?

As of late, I've read an interesting answer here on AskHistorians on Italian intervention in WWI, and an unanswered followup question asked if Italy managed to gain what it was promised before the war, which as Italian I remember the answer being "No, because Wilson vetoed it, and this lead to a huge malcontent and ultimately the rise of Communism and the very foundation of the Fascist Party in Italy".

Then I've read somewhere else that US intervention in WWI broke a substantial stalemate and preventend a ceasefire/peace treaty in 1916, prolonging the war until Entente countries totally disintegrated the Central powers in what might be the first case of "catastrophic success", whose humiliation led to the rise of Nazism, and leading up to the Bolshevic Revolution in Russia.

I also remember that he can be held responsible for the Black Tuesday in 1929 and the rise of Fidel Catro in Cuba.

What happened to the majority of Nazi war criminals and their collaborators at the end of and after WWII? I am mostly thinking of people who did the killing directly such as SS personnel or camp guards. Were most of them killed? Captured? Escaped?

The Black Death slowed economy, debilitated society, and started riots, how can it be possible for a renaissance to occur while millions are dying?

It doesn't make a lot of sense for a Renaissance of arts and culture to flourish while people are focusing on not-dying. I read somewhere that there was a period of religious enlightenment during the Bubonic Plague, as people wanted a faith to pray to for the hope of survival, as well as flagellation occuring to punish humanity for the plague, but weren't people also believing that if they were to die anyway, then there is no point to continuing their daily prayers and traditions?
