It's my understanding that there were in fact iron objects being made during the bronze age, but I don't know much else about bronze age iron-working. What types of objects would have been typically made with iron at that time? Are there certain types of objects that would be made in iron but not bronze, or vice-versa? Who was likely to own objects made of iron, versus objects made of bronze? Was one more affordable than the other?

I've always had a keen interest in Roman history, I really enjoy watching series that were set in that time (e.g. Rome and Spartacus), however I would love to deepen my knowledge on such matters and cannot find a good source to read about it on the web... Do any of you know any good podcasts / documentaries / books presently sold that I could buy to catch up on some decent Roman history?

Whenever you think of the Great Depression era, you think poverty, bread lines, unemployment, and while this was the reality for a lot of people, what was it like for people who managed to retain their wealth? Did rich people in this era tend to live in similar areas, or was it often like one wealthy person living in their fortified house surrounded by poverty? Did class warfare exist in the political realm the same way it does today? What was it like being rich in a time of such extreme hardship?

Were there long term plans to create/expand this?

By general knowledge I'd say that people that lived beyond 40 were strong/lucky, eh?

I know every time it gets brought up everyone dismisses Sea Lion as impossible. That being said hindsight is different what were the British plans of defense? If London fell would that mean capitulation or were their contingency plans to move the War Cabinet and another line of defense in Manchester or Glasgow?

I noticed that Captain Shang, the son of one of, if not the highest ranking general, in all of China knows the name Fa Zhou. "THE Fa Zhou"? Meaning either his fears are taught in schools or he heard stories of him from his father. Either way it implies that Mulan's father is well known, respected, and possibly a hero.

Considering his clearly injured leg and experience along with his renown, what role and level of danger would he have been in?

When referring to the Eastern Roman Empire in the modern day, we often call it the Byzantine Empire or Byzantium. While I know for a fact that the early Byzantine Empire still called themselves the Roman Empire, was there ever a point in history when they referred to themselves as the Byzantine Empire, or is that a name us modern day people came up with?

Also, for bonus points, where does the name "Byzantine" even come from?

Even though the Free Masons and the Catholic Church are supposed to be sworn enemies that hasn't stopped people like Jack Chick from conflating the two. So I was wondering if his 19th century counterparts in the Anti-Masonic and Know-Nothing movements also did something similar

For example, Teddy Roosevelt's call for national parks. Was this out of nowhwre, or was there a lot of public support before this was passed? What were the motivations for this example or others similiar? Purely to protect nature, or were there practical and economic reasons too?

During the reign of Augustus, the Ethiopians invaded Egypt and where then chased through the Sudan by the Romans and defeated at their capitol. As far as I know, the Romans just left afterward. I know Teutoburg and complications in the East sort of put halt to the Empire's expansion at this time, but wouldn't Ethiopia be quite desirable for a multitude of reasons- one of which being Augustus' interest in sea routes to India?

Did they flee to Moscow and act as governments in exile? Did they resist to the end along with the local Red Army units? Did they just disband and try to escape into the countryside?

Cna't find anything definitive on, was this something no one wanted to talk about or, was he a bit player on the sideline who had little involvement/little impact on the witch hunt that occurred?
