In World War 2, friendly fire no doubt occurred. Should this actually happen, what would the outcome be? Would they be court-martialed for their error? How often did it happen?

So I found out my godfather is half Armenian and would like to have a quick ELI5 style answer in regards to the Armenian Genocide. I mentioned it to my mom and she said "it was a war not a genocide". That is basically all I have. in short I come here to understand the "deniers", "believers", and to figure out the next time I see my godfather how to approach the question not to offend him. Romans used both Greek and Latin. They represented numbers using the Roman Numeral system, but, from what I understand, that uses Latin characters. So if a Roman was writing in Greek, how would he represent a number?

So I learned while doing some research on the United States's Office of Strategic Strategies (For those who don't know, was the precedent of the CIA), that the OSS had involvement in training, arming, and supplying of the Mao Zedong's Red Army. I was reading up on Thucydides' History of the Peloponnesian War, where he makes special note of the importance of naval power. My question is, how did ancient Greeks find each other on the open seas to have these naval battles? When in the middle of the ocean on a large ship, how did they find anything?

I've heard that Cleopatra lived closer to now then the times when the pyramids were built,mso would you have known how they were built? Do any current Egyptians claimed the skill was passed down through their family? I realize that I wouldn't know how to build a skyscraper if transported in time, so was it something like common people not knowing how to build it, that led to the exact "how they were built" being lost?
