Hi, So Basically for a history essay due within the next few weeks, I need to discuss the significance of the rebellions during his reign using a variety of primary and secondary sources. Problem is that nor I or my classmates are able to find any primary sources for the events (Yorkshire rebellion, Cornish Rebellion, Lambert Simnel. Perkin Warbeck). We would greatly appreciate if anybody could refer us to a primary source. Thanks for any Information you may have/can find.

A lot of movies, books, and media often portrays the Old West, if as it was worse than the "civilized" East, but how bad was the lawlessness and the crime rate in the Old West compared to the "civilized" East? I tried to find the geographical differences, but googling the information isn't that helpful to me.

I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but I'm german and very curious about this questions, as I've seen a comment hinting something similar. I've heard of this before but thought it was just some nonsense, but this subreddit seems very good, so I hoped someone could help me out. The question is pretty much in the title, so did Hitler offer the jews to other countries,as in he offered to have the US take jews or something similar? I can only find brief information about this warrior "class" or rank and yet, they seem to be considered the most prestigious warriors (or at least very highly regarded).

It seems strange considering the Aztecs considered warfare a core tennet of their society and other classes such as the jaguar and eagle warriors have much more information readily available.

Could anyone provide more interesting information regarding these warriors?

Did the Soviet Union suffer from shortage's through out its history or did it get much e worse at the end!

I have always wondered about this. I thought about doing my pop-a-lock routine in the middle ages. Would I be burned at the stake for looking so odd or shrugged off as a foreign dancer. Has there been anything like breakdancing, moonwalking, pop-a-locking or the like in the historical record?

It just would seem odd for as long as humans have been around no one has ever bboy'd before.

I´ve just recently seen online articles and debates claiming that possible there we´re more than 100 millions, most of whom were killed by disease brought from Europe after 1492. Those numbers feel high, since there were no big cities and they mostly were hunterer-gatherers.

I know that martial arts are not exclusive to the region, so why (culturally, socially, etc.) has it become common practice to make the assumption that martial arts equate to Asia? Was it simply that there was more documentation from that region that supported a structured study into said martial arts? Thank you!

I am taking a grad course that's heavy on history over the last 1-2 millenia. The more books I read, the more I am shocked by how short it seems human history really is. One period leads to another, leads to another, leads to another, and suddenly you have arrived at the modern day in a seemingly very short time.

Do you also get the same feeling that thousands of years of history isn't actually all that long? Or is there a sort of bias going on here because we only focus on major surviving historical events when looking at the past?
